Salam all, as the same from week 1 I did my studies for week 2 through the video provided by our lecturer, Prof. Dr Suhaimi through iTa'leem. As for week 2, the focus was on Islam and sustainable development which we focused on 3 main things, Islam and social sustainability, Islam and environmental sustainability and Islam and economic sustainability. Here's my reflection for week 2:- 1. First of all, the concept of sustainable development in Islam is defined as the responsible use of resources and the stewardship (Khilafah) of the Earth, which ensures the well-being of present and future generations. This is based on the guidelines and principles of sustainability in the Quran which are justice (Adl), stressing balance (Mizan) and Amanah in all aspects of life.
